Shraddha Rural and Urban Development Society(SRUDS), Gokak
We work towards health awareness programs in rural areas.
SRUDS is a non-government voluntary organization working in the fields of Gokak taluk, Belgaum District, Karnataka. With a vision of working for the all-round development of the weaker section. And our organization has promoted services of the program for the benefit of different target communities major areas of SRUDS intervention include education both formal and nonformal literacy development welfare of challenged groups agriculture development, and HIV and AIDS awareness (Prevention and care). So far we reached 2000 beneficiaries at Gokak.

HIV/AIDS Awareness Program
We conducted HIV/AIDS awareness program at school,Ankalagi Village, Gokak Taluk. We reached around 300 students on that day. HIV is still a night mare to many at the society.People think it to be a deadly disease which may destroy their lives. An awareness program was conducted regarding HIV/AIDS such that people could be given awareness about what it is actually all about and could come of their fear.This program was seen a success.01-Dec-2019
HIV/AIDS Awareness Jatha
We organized raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection and mourning those who have died of the disease. On 01.December.2019 we conducted Jatha with school students at Gokak. HIV is still a night mare to many at the society.People think it to be a deadly disease which may destroy their lives. An awareness program was conducted regarding HIV/AIDS such that people could be given awareness about what it is actually all about and could come of their fear.This program was seen a success.21-Nov-2019

We organized door to door raising awareness on HIV/AIDS in Benchinmardi village, Gokak Taluk on 21.November.2019. Blood Donation Camp
We organized blood donation camp at Gokak, Around 20 people were donated blood in the event.Donation of blood is considered to be one of the biggest deeds that could be done.Donating blood can save many lives. Our organization took this great step of conducting blood donation camps in having a view of saving lives.This program saw a great success.Members
